About This Position
Mount Olivet Cemetery Association is seeking a full time Administrative Assistant. This position supports the three Kansas City area cemeteries and the St. Joseph cemetery. This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining the office record keeping system and accurately inputting, updating and maintaining information in digital systems and/or spreadsheets. The primary objective is to ensure that company records remain current, organized and error-free to support efficient business operations.
Essential Duties:
- Entering data from physical documents into digital formats including Nexus or other database systems.
- Review and proofread both new and historical files and data for inconsistencies, errors or missing information; making corrections as necessary.
- Generating reports based on entered data, sorting files and managing physical files.
- Data security and adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and performing regular backups to prevent data loss.
- Reporting, summarizing and generating reports from data.
Requirements:
- High attention to detail to identify discrepancies.
- Managing multiple tasks and maintaining organized records.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to read Googgle maps.
