What you will do:
Build and maintain a personal training client base
Deliver safe, effective, and motivating training sessions
Coach members in 1-on-1, semi-private, mobility/stretch, youth, and group training formats
Track client progress and maintain accurate documentation in company systems
Promote URGE FITNESS programs, services, and products
Engage with members on the floor and help create a welcoming training experience
Support marketing efforts, including outreach and club-level member engagement
What we are looking for:
Nationally accredited personal training certification
Current CPR/AED certification before start date
Strong people skills and the ability to build member relationships
Energy, professionalism, and confidence in promoting training services
Knowledge of fitness, program design, and safe exercise instruction
Basic computer skills for documentation and scheduling
Reliable transportation to arrive on time for scheduled shifts
Personal training experience is preferred
Degree in exercise science, sports medicine, or a related field is a plus
Schedule and availability:
Full-time and part-time schedules available
Early morning, evening, and weekend availability is needed
Weekday shifts may begin as early as 5:00 AM and may run into the evening based on client demand and club needs
Weekend shifts are typically morning to early afternoon
Physical requirements:
Ability to actively demonstrate exercises during training sessions
Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and movement throughout the shift
Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and occasionally more, with reasonable accommodation available where required by law
Work environment:
Fast-paced health club environment
Frequent interaction with members, staff, and vendors
Combination of coaching time, administrative work, and scheduled availability for training sessions
