Material Handler at Advanced Chemical Company – Warwick, Rhode Island

Advanced Chemical Company (ACC) is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Material Handler to support daily refinery operations. This role is responsible for the safe movement, staging, tracking, and documentation of raw materials, finished products, and production supplies within our refinery environment.

The ideal candidate thrives in an industrial setting, values teamwork, and maintains strict adherence to safety and environmental standards.

• Safely load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the refinery

• Operate forklifts and other industrial equipment (as certified)

• Supply production lines with required raw materials

• Transport finished materials to designated storage or shipping areas

• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage

• Maintain accurate inventory and production documentation

• Follow all refinery safety, environmental, and compliance procedures

• Maintain clean and organized work areas

• Assist with general warehouse and refinery support tasks as needed

• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification)

• Basic math, reading, and documentation skills

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods

• Comfortable working in an industrial refinery environment (heat, noise, PPE required)

• Ability to work indoors and outdoors as required
