About This Position

JOB SUMMARY
Oversees warehouse day-to-day operations and overall logistics as well as provide general labor to ensure warehouse is well-stocked, clean of debris, safe, and fully operational. Additionally, provides tactical and procedural purchasing support to the project managers and our internal customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Carries out daily tasks in accordance with applicable safety laws, regulations, and Comtech policies and procedures. Displays an "incident free", "safety first" attitude at all times and hold self and others accountable for meeting all safety guidelines.
  • Performs and leads material handling and warehousing functions as required.
  • Ensures tasks are completed on time, safely and correctly every time. Consistently looks for ways to improve processes and assist others in reaching established goals. Maintains acceptable attendance and punctuality to ensure quality and timely operations.
  • Follows-up and responds to requests in a timely manner (usually within 24 hours or less). Interacts with customers and vendors in a positive and professional manner at all times.
  • Champions and respects diversity. Consistently treats others with respect and professionalism. Freely shares information with others and find ways to assist new associates in their transition to Comtech.
  • Mechanical background is preferred.
  • Assists on site when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
Experience
  • Experience in water operations or another discipline of Gas and Oilfield operations highly desired.Six (6) months experience operating forklifting, man lift operations, and safe driving courses a plus.
Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, Certifications, etc.
  • Successful completion of Comtech training (e.g., manlift operations, forklift training) achieved within six (6) months of hire.
  • Able to use a man lift and forklift.
  • Must have at least average math competence/skills with the ability to verify counts, read and apply labels, understand load manifests, freight staging, etc.
  • Strong problem-solving skills demonstrated by identifying the nature of the problem and its impact on the organization, conducting research and analysis to ensure understanding of the problem, and ability to develop sound solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated by developing relationships and networks with coworkers, customers, and colleagues inside and outside the company.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high energy and team-oriented environment requiring ability to produce high quality outcomes and services under pressure and within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to handle multiple demands, shifting priorities, rapid change and adapt responses and tactics to fit fluid circumstances.
  • Ability to quickly assimilate new knowledge and appropriately apply it on the job.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member; able to reach consensus and achieve team goals; and freely share information and knowledge with the team.
Note: Must be able to pass background check, possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving history.
