This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.
As part of a hardworking team of supply chain professionals, technicians, and engineers, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our organization adheres to all relevant regulations, develops automated compliance reports, and educates our teams on designing compliant processes. The International Subcontract Administrator manages relationships with non-US external vendors and suppliers, ensuring contractual obligations are fulfilled while protecting the organization's interests, maintaining compliance, and optimizing.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management
- Research and evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and capacity
- Develop and maintain productive supplier relationships through regular communication
- Monitor supplier performance and address non-compliance issues
Purchase Order Management
- Create, issue, and track purchase orders in company MRP/ERP system(s) throughout the procurement lifecycle
Contract Development & Administration
- Draft, negotiate, and manage subcontract agreements and purchase orders
- Maintain documentation of all contract activities, changes, and correspondence
Financial Management
- Negotiate favorable pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers
- Track payment schedules, validate invoices, and maintain proper financial controls
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to regulations (FAR/DFAR), company policies, and contractual requirements
- Identify and mitigate potential risks through appropriate contract language and requirements
- Coordinate quality assurance activities to verify materials and services meet specifications
Process Optimization
- Implement efficiency improvements in procurement and contracting processes
- Coordinate inventory management with operations teams
- Generate performance reports on suppliers, contracts, and compliance metrics
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with legal, finance, engineering, and project management teams
- Align procurement activities with organizational objectives and program goals
- Facilitate effective communication between suppliers and internal stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, contract management, or related field
- Experience: 5+ years in contract administration, procurement, or supply chain management
- Knowledge: Understanding of contract law, procurement regulations, and industry-specific requirements
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with contract management software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools
- Soft Skills: Strong negotiation abilities, attention to detail, communication skills, and problem-solving aptitude
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a multi-cultural environment with both internal and external customers and stakeholders
- Experience with ISO 9001, AS9100, or other quality management systems in aerospace
- Fluent in multiple languages
