Who You AreYou are a licensed and experienced behavioral health professional committed to providing high-quality psychological services to underserved and vulnerable populations. You possess strong diagnostic and clinical assessment skills, experience working with individuals experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. You are passionate about trauma-informed care and improving client outcomes through evidence-based interventions.
What You Will DoPsychological Assessment & Evaluation- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and diagnostic assessments in accordance with DSM-5-TR criteria
- Administer, score, and interpret psychological and cognitive testing as clinically indicated
- Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with clinical findings and program goals
- Conduct risk assessments, including suicidality evaluations and Baker Act assessments when appropriate
- Provide evidence-based individual, group, and/or family therapy services
- Deliver trauma-informed and culturally competent care utilizing modalities such as CBT, DBT, MI, and other clinically appropriate interventions
- Support clients experiencing homelessness, substance use disorders, and co-occurring behavioral health conditions
- Participate in crisis intervention and stabilization efforts as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including case managers, medical staff, and behavioral health providers
- Provide clinical consultation and recommendations to support integrated care planning
- Participate in treatment team meetings, case conferences, and discharge planning activities
- Complete timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with agency standards, payer requirements, and applicable federal and state regulations, including 42 CFR where applicable
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, confidentiality standards, and all contractual obligations
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and service coordination
- Maintain active licensure and all required professional credentials throughout the contract term
- Maintain individual professional liability (malpractice) insurance coverage
- Responsible for all taxes, benefits, and business-related expenses as an independent contractor
- Provide services in accordance with the agreed-upon schedule, scope of work, and contractual service rates
- Submit timely and accurate invoices in accordance with contractual requirements
- Adhere to all Camillus House policies, procedures, and compliance standards
- Shelter-based and residential treatment programs
- Outpatient behavioral health settings, including PHP/IOP environments as applicable
- Crisis stabilization and community-based service settings
- Multidisciplinary, fast-paced, high-acuity behavioral health environment
- This position is classified as a 1099 Independent Contractor role
- Contractors are responsible for managing their own taxes, insurance, and benefits
- All services must comply with Camillus House policies, professional standards, and applicable federal and state regulations
- Strict confidentiality of all client and organizational information must be maintained at all times

- Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology or related field from an accredited institution
- Current and unrestricted Psychologist license in the State of Florida
- Minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure clinical experience preferred, particularly within behavioral health, substance use treatment, or community-based settings
- Experience conducting psychological testing and clinical assessments required
- Experience working with underserved, homeless, or high-acuity populations strongly preferred
- Training and/or experience in trauma-informed care and co-occurring disorders preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic capabilities, and crisis intervention skills
- Excellent written communication and clinical documentation skills
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within a multidisciplinary environment
- Cultural competence and sensitivity when working with diverse populations
