Overview

Lutron Electronics has an immediate opening for a Senior Information Systems Specialist to support and enhance the SharePoint platform. The role, based in Gurgaon, will work closely with Lutron’s global Information Technology team to continuously improve SharePoint capabilities. This includes gathering business requirements, incorporating user feedback, and designing scalable, best-practice solutions aligned with Lutron standards.
The individual will collaborate across regions to optimize workflows, improve user experience, and ensure the platform effectively supports business operations.


Responsibilities

  • Design and develop custom SharePoint solutions, intranet sites, and web components based on business requirements.
  • Build and maintain SharePoint applications using C#, XML, SQL, and related technologies.
  • Design and implement workflows using Power Automate to streamline and automate business processes.
  • Develop and execute PowerShell scripts to support SharePoint Online administration and automation.
  • Maintain and enhance SharePoint environments and web applications, ensuring stability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, review designs, and deliver solutions aligned with timelines and standards.
  • Manage day-to-day task prioritization and delivery, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations.
  • Ensure quality of deliverables, track performance metrics, and drive improvements in delivery efficiency.
  • Provide user training and support, enabling adoption and effective use of SharePoint solutions.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across regions to resolve technical issues and deliver enhancements that improve business processes.
  • Work within an Agile/SAFe environment, collaborating with global IT teams on solution delivery and support.
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives, while building understanding of broader IT systems and integrations


Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 3-year degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a 4-year degree in engineering/technology with 60% or above,
  • 6–9 years of relevant experience in SharePoint development or related roles.
  • Experience working as a SharePoint developer, including solution design and implementation.
  • Proficiency in C#, SQL, and .NET frameworks for application development.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript and modern web development practices.
  • Proficiency in coding and debugging, with attention to code quality and performance.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies and best practices (Agile/Scrum).
  • Ability to identify platform improvements and contribute to enhancement initiatives.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills, with clear written and verbal communication.
  • Customer-focused approach with attention to detail and commitment to work quality.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in client or stakeholder management, particularly in data flow and migration activities.
  • Understanding of UI/UX principles and their application in SharePoint or web solutions.
  • Experience working in cross-functional or global team environments.
  • Exposure to enterprise collaboration platforms and integrations.
  • Experience contributing to process improvements or governance practices.
