Healthcare Simulation & IT Assistant
Position Summary:
The Interprofessional Healthcare Simulation Center (IHSC) isseeking a motivated and detail-oriented work-study student to join our team asa Healthcare Simulation & IT Assistant. This position offers a uniqueopportunity to gain hands-on experience in the healthcare simulation field,supporting the preparation and execution of Objective Structured ClinicalExaminations (OSCEs) and other healthcare simulations for the academic programsat the University's Health & Health Sciences campus. This position willalso assist in troubleshooting various IT tasks and issues supporting theoffices of the Health & Health Sciences Office of Academic Affairs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Greeting and assisting visitors, students, faculty, and staff entering the IHSC.
Respond to inquiries and provide information as needed.
Assist in setting up and breaking down simulation rooms for OSCEs and other training sessions.
Stock and organize supplies, including medical equipment, linens, and other necessary materials.
Ensure all simulation equipment is clean, functional, and properly stored after use.
Collaborate with simulation specialists to ensure accurate staging and preparation for each simulation scenario.
Assist with inventory tracking.
Assist with IT support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues for staff.
Support the setup and maintenance of classroom technology.
