Associate Director, Investor Relations & Corporate Communications – Solid Biosciences

Solid Biosciences is a precision genetic medicine company focused on advancing a portfolio of gene therapy candidates targeting rare neuromuscular and cardiac diseases, including SGT-003 for Duchenne muscular dystrophy (Duchenne), SGT-212 for Friedreich’s ataxia (FA), SGT-501 for catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia (CPVT), SGT-601 for TNNT2-mediated dilated cardiomyopathy and additional fatal, genetic cardiac diseases. The Company is also focused on developing innovative libraries of genetic regulators and other enabling technologies with promising potential to significantly impact gene therapy delivery cross-industry. Solid is advancing its diverse pipeline and delivery platform in the pursuit of uniting experts in science, technology, disease management, and care.

We are seeking an Associate Director, Investor Relations & Corporate Communications to lead Solid’s day-to-day investor relations and corporate communications execution, coordination and content development. This individual will play a critical role in managing high-quality, timely, and consistent communications across external and internal audiences. With three clinical-stage rare disease development programs, this is an exciting time to join a dynamic and evolving, mission-driven organization. This role will report to, and partner closely with, the Senior Director, Investor Relations & Corporate Communications and will be based in Solid’s Corporate Headquarters located in Hood Park in Charlestown, MA and is a hybrid or onsite position.

Key Position Responsibilities

  • Execute day‑to‑day investor relations activities, including financial results preparation, maintaining records of investor interactions and feedback, and own the drafting and coordination of written and investor materials, including press releases, conference call scripts, Q&A documents and presentations
  • Manage a busy and high-impact calendar, including IR conferences, roadshows, medical and scientific conferences and quarterly updates
  • Coordinate logistics and prepare briefing materials for investor and analyst meetings and serve as primary liaison for routine investor and analyst inquiries
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, Patient Advocacy, and other internal stakeholders to support execution of external corporate communications, ensuring accurate, consistent and compliant multi-channel communications encompassing quarterly filings, press releases, investor decks, corporate website, and social media channels
  • Manage execution of internal communications, translating external milestones (earnings, financings, clinical updates) into clear and timely employee messaging
  • Serve as primary contact for external agencies and vendors related to investor relations and communications execution
  • Maintain and update core messaging tools, including FAQs, boilerplates, investor decks, and presentation templates
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, organization, and scalability of the investor relations and corporate communications function

Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 4–5+ years of experience in investor relations, corporate communications, corporate affairs or a related field
  • Experience in biotechnology, life sciences, or a highly regulated industry with public company exposure strongly preferred
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with experience drafting content for investor, media and/or internal audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines and cross‑functional inputs in a fast‑paced environment

Compensation

The base compensation range for this role is: $160,000.00 - $185,000.00

Base salary offered is determined through an internal analysis utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.

Regular employees are eligible to receive both short-term and long-term incentives, including cash bonus and equity incentive opportunities, designed to reward individual performance and align incentives to Solid’s long term company performance.
