We are seeking a passionate, creative, and relationship-oriented professional to serve as our Admissions & Marketing Coordinator — a key role focused on growing enrollment, telling the story of Rise Academy, and creating meaningful connections with prospective families.

Position Summary

The Admissions & Marketing Coordinator supports the school’s enrollment growth by generating interest in the school, sharing its story, and guiding prospective families through the early stages of the admissions journey. This role focuses on recruitment, relationship-building, and storytelling to help families understand and connect with the school's mission and culture.

This position plays a key role in moving families from initial interest to application, at which point they are transitioned to the Office Administrator for enrollment processing and onboarding.

Growth + recruitment + storytelling

Key Responsibilities

Enrollment Growth & Recruitment (Top of Funnel)
  • Generate interest in the school through outreach, engagement, and visibility efforts
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective families prior to application
  • Respond to initial inquiries and nurture early-stage interest in the school
  • Support the school’s efforts to attract mission-aligned students and families
  • Serves as a back up to (Fife)
Admissions Experience & Family Engagement
  • Lead tours, shadow days, and open houses as the primary host and guide
  • Create welcoming and informative experiences for prospective students and families
  • Support families in understanding the school’s mission, culture, and programs
  • Maintain consistent communication with families during the inquiry and consideration stages
Marketing, Storytelling & Digital Presence
  • Manage the school’s social media accounts, including content creation, posting, and engagement
  • Oversee updates and maintenance of the school website, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with school messaging
  • Create and share the school’s story through newsletters, photography, and digital content
  • Highlight student life, academics, athletics, and community experiences
  • Support branding and messaging that reflect the school’s identity and mission
  • Build a consistent and engaging public presence for the school across platforms
Admissions Funnel Management (Early Stage Only)
  • Track prospective family engagement from inquiry through application
  • Encourage and support families as they move toward application
  • Ensure smooth handoff of applicants to the Office Administrator once applications are submitted
  • Maintain organized records of prospective family interactions and pipeline activity
Event Support
  • Plan and support admissions events such as open houses, information sessions, and visit days
  • Coordinate logistics, materials, and communication for recruitment events
  • Ensure events reflect the culture and strengths of the school

This role supports families during the interest and application phase of the admissions process. Once a family submits an application, responsibility for processing, records management, and enrollment completion transfers to the Office Administrator.

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience in admissions, marketing, communications, education, or relationship-based roles
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience managing social media platforms and website content preferred
  • Comfortable creating digital content (photography, newsletters, basic design tools helpful)
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through
  • Ability to build trust and relationships with families
  • Experience in school or nonprofit environments preferred
