Position:
The site Food Safety & Quality Supervisor will lead hands-on QA on the production floor to ensure pre-operational readiness, drive root-cause resolution, and drive improvements on customer complaint management. This person will serve as the site’s PCQI, partnering cross-functionally to drive food safety and quality excellence.
Responsibilities:
· Pre-Op Champion: Own daily pre-op inspections, ATP verification, and line-release sign-off; enforce corrective actions in real time.
· Floor QA Leadership: Routine walk-through of production lines, coach operators on GMP/HACCP, and prevent nonconformance at the source.
· Issue Resolution Driver: Lead systematic root cause investigations; implement CAPA with measurable closure, particularly for critical issues.
· Complaint Management: Reduce complaint recurrence via trend analysis, scorecards, and closed-loop verification.
· Continuous Improvement and Productivity: Drive plant productivity projects and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize throughput, reduce waste, and maintain quality standards for high-risk processes and materials.
· Data Analysis and Documentation: Analyze process data, perform risk assessments, and maintain detailed documentation (e.g., SOPs, reports) to support regulatory audits, quality assurance, and process capability studies.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Production, Maintenance, and R&D to embed quality into changeovers, new products, and equipment qualifications.

Requirements:Ideal Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s in Food Science, Engineering, or related; PCQI certification required.
· 3+ years food-manufacturing QA with SQF audit lead experience (internal or certification-body facing).
· Proven leadership of hourly teams and influence without authority.
· Expertise in ATP swabbing, environmental monitoring, and quality hold/release protocols.
· Mastery of RCA tools, complaint databases, and statistical trending (Power BI, Minitab or similar).
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
· Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities
