Job Summary: Lead Radiologic Technologist supervises staff and works as part of a health care team to provide critical information necessary in diagnosing patients of all ages by performing x-rays, computed tomography (CT) and laboratory studies for a variety of illnesses and injuries.

Location: San Antonio, TX
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Total annual compensation starts at approximately $89,000, with flexibility based on experience and qualifications.
Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate has free standing emergency medicine experience in CT, X-Ray, and lab protocols. The candidate is a proven competent leader in their field, leads with integrity and compassion, and can effectively train a team in achieving The Emergency Center’s culture and vision.

Position Qualifications:
Education
- Required: Associate degree (two-year college or technical school)
- Required: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology
Experience
- Required: Minimum of one year as a practicing X-Ray and computed tomography technologist
- Preferred: Previous experience in an outpatient facility or hospital
Computer Skills
- Required: Basic computer skills
Certifications and Licenses:
- Required: American Registry and Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), BLS and Texas General Medical Radiologic Technologist License
Summary of Duties:
- Performs all essential functions of a Radiologic Technologist as described on the Radiologic Technologist Job Description.
- Always ensures 100% shift coverage, including coordinating coverage for unexpected absences and acting as Radiologic Technologist of last resort in the event no other coverage can be found. Gets approval from Regional Radiology Director for all overtime.
- Serves as the key resource and subject matter expert for the team. Creates a safe environment for staff to ask questions and bring up concerns.
- Facilitates all training for team members, including ensuring new hires are fully trained within the first two weeks of hire date, conducting ongoing team and individual training as needed, and regularly communicating company and position policy and procedure updates.
- Creates and maintains a positive, customer service orientated work environment for team members.
