Role Overview

We are seeking a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to be responsible for the day-to-day tasks of our shipping department. This role will work and collaborate with our operations and development teams to ensure accuracy of shipments and timely deliveries.

What You’ll Do...

• Daily tracking of parts
• Coordination shipping items with UPS or Freight
• Tracking part drawings and inventories
• Daily packing and shipping of all orders to meet customer delivery schedules
• Final visual inspection during packing and communicating any quality concerns
• Receiving inspection
• Storing material and goods safely at required locations
• Ability to operate a pallet jack, hand truck, and cutters
• Maintaining cleanliness of the shipping & receiving area
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
• Organizing of shipping area and shipping supplies
• Looking over work orders to verify shipments/receiving
• Staging jobs for production lines to be ready for their next jobs on schedule
• Weekly shop inventory

You have...

• 1+ years of experience in Shipping & Receiving
• Ability to work independently
• High School Diploma
• Drive and willingness to understand directions and learn quickly
• Ability to be flexible and deal with changing priorities
• Must be dependable and reliable
• Excellent driving record
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Physical Requirements

• Remain in a standing or sitting stationary position for 3-4 hours per day (1-2 hours at one time)

• Frequently push or pull objects between 26-45 pounds
• Occasionally reach at or below shoulder level, and occasionally reach overhead
• Frequently use hands and fingers to handle or operate objects, tools, or controls
• Occasionally bend, stoop, or twist
• Occasionally crouch, kneel, and squat
• Occasionally operate heavy machinery
• Frequently keyboard
• Effectively communicate in person and via telephone or other electronic devices

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is $21.00-$27.00 per hour.
