Material Handler Service Center in Kentwood, Michigan at Corvac Composites, LLC

BACKGROUND REQUIRED:

• Reading, writing, communication, and math skills are adequate for following written instructions and completing required documentation
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

SPECIAL SKILLS:

• Should have standard knowledge of Microsoft Office products and CMS
• Ability to obtain hi-lo certification and lift/change propane tanks
• Ability to use RF Scanner
• Ability to inspect products visually
• Ability to handle shipping paperwork

• Problem solving knowledge and ability
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing Principles

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Adhere to company policies and procedures including Safety, Quality, and EMS
• Follow standardized work instructions
• Organized storage of finished goods prior to shipment
• Check all Toyota Service parts before each shipment to ensure correct quantity and create label
• Responsible for loading trucks to meet the customer’s requirements
• Willingness to learn basic computer tasks pertaining to the shipment of goods to the customer including electronic communications to customer

• Complete daily/month inventory

• Other duties as assigned
