Executive Director at Affirmed Home Care – Manhattan, New York

Affirmed Home Care is a premier concierge, private-pay home care agency dedicated to delivering exceptional, personalized care to clients in the comfort of their homes. We are seeking an experienced and driven Executive Director to lead our Manhattan branch and play a key role in our continued growth and success.
Position Overview

The Executive Director is responsible for the overall leadership and management of branch operations, including strategic planning, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and quality of care. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone passionate about delivering high-quality home care services while building and leading strong teams.

The role also requires providing clear, compassionate communication with families regarding their loved ones’ care, along with ensuring ongoing follow-up and support for clients and their families. This position requires flexibility, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of clients and their families.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute strategic initiatives to drive growth and operational excellence
• Oversee daily operations including staffing, scheduling, recruiting, and client care
• Ensure full compliance with all state and federal home care regulations
• Manage and monitor financial performance, including budgeting, revenue, and expenses
• Lead, mentor, and develop clinical and administrative teams
• Run interdepartmental meetings and provide performance updates to senior leadership
• Build and maintain relationships with referral sources and community partners
• Represent the agency within the community and with regulatory bodies
• Lead Quality Assurance initiatives and implement improvement plans as needed
• Deliver exceptional service to clients and their families
• "Point of Contact" for customer service concerns
• Demonstrates a proactive and reactive approach to supporting client and family needs, anticipating concerns while responding promptly and effectively to changing situations
• Extensive follow-up care with clients and their families required.
  

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) preferred (Bachelor’s degree a plus); Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) candidates will also be considered
• Minimum of 5+ years of home care management experience with proven success

Additional Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of NYS home care regulations, compliance, and quality standards
• Experience with budgeting and financial management
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills with a proven ability to provide consistent follow-up with clients and their families.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
