General Description
The Program Manager is a core member of the Transformation Management Office who is aligned to one or more Transformation workstreams). He/she is responsible for having a deep understanding of the objectives, deliverables, progress, blockers, interdependencies and risks associated with all initiatives within the workstream(s). The Program Manager will lead weekly check-ins with Workstream Leads and/or Initiative Leads to understand progress against milestones, surface obstacles and facilitate problem-solving.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Program Liaison is the critical point of contact between the Transformation Management Office and the Workstream(s).
- Assist Transformation Leaders (i.e., Workstream Leads and Initiative Leads) in establishing high fidelity and rigorous milestones, deliverables, financial projections, and deadlines
- Pressure-test assumptions, outcomes, and timelines to ensure that they are reasonable yet ambitious
- Facilitate weekly touch points with Transformation Leaders to capture progress against defined milestones, surface risks / blockers and develop mitigation strategies
- Coordinate across the bank, bringing the right set of leaders / subject matter experts together to resolve Workstream obstacles and/or escalating matters as appropriate
- Connect and communicate dependencies across Workstreams and ensure relevant progress is made to minimize delays.
- Capture Workstream progress in appropriate Transformation Management Office reporting tools ensuring Workstream dashboard is up to date.
- Prepare Workstream Leaders for senior stakeholder presentations including but not limited to Steering Committee, Operating Committee and Board of Directors
- Act as primary contact for Workstream leaders in all Transformation-related matters and provide Workstream leaders with relevant and timely announcements on behalf of the Transformation Management Office
- Serve as an active and engaged member of the Transformation Management Office providing input to peers in other Workstreams as well as to Our People, Finance, Communications and Change Management efforts
- Attending all Transformation Management Office meetings including multiple weekly TMO check-ins, weekly Transformation Updates with Workstream Leads, quarterly Collaboration Sessions, etc.
- Be a positive and energetic supporter of Transformation and an early adopter of new ways of working and refined cultural behaviors.
Education
Bachelor’s or master's degree in technology, Industrial or Computer Engineering, Information Systems or Business Administration
Experience
At least ten (10) years of experience within IT and/or business industry.
Five to seven years in diverse roles with increasing leadership responsibilities across major projects and programs. Portfolio management experience.

- Strong business acumen, including industry- and domain-specific knowledge of the organization and its business units.
- Influencing and negotiation experience and skills in an environment with high competition for resources.
- Excellent analytical, strategic planning and execution skills.
- Knowledge of project planning tools.
- Proficiency in seeing milestones through to deadlines.
- Ability to influence and manage multiple stakeholders across the organization.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High degree of business acumen with a generalist approach and ability to understand depth and breadth across a variety of topics.
- Tenacious problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities to overcome obstacles.
- High energy, positive attitude, and desire to be part of a high-functioning team in a fast-paced environmen

- PMI Program Management Professional (PMI-PgMP) Certification
- PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) Certification
- Lean Six Sigma Certification
- Certified Scrum Master
- Certified Product Manager (CPM)
- Agile Coach Proffesional Certificate (ACPC)
