Caregiver/Care Professional in Staten Island, New York at Home Instead

Home Instead is looking for caring and compassionate Care Professionals to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout Staten Island.

Home Instead provides a variety of services that allow seniors to remain in their homes and meet the challenges of aging with dignity and compassion.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Companionship
• Safety Supervision
• Meal Preparation
• Light Housekeeping
• Laundry
• Medication and Appointment Reminders
• Assistance with bathing, showering, and grooming
• Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
• Alzheimer's and Dementia Care

Requirements to be a Care Professional:

• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Prior experience working with the elderly

Shifts include:

• Daytime
• Evening
• Weekend
• Overnight
• Live-In

Shifts that require employee to provide transportation must:

• Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance
