Locations: San Antonio | Austin | Dallas | Houston | Corpus Christi
Compensation: $150,000 Base Salary + Performance Bonus (Up to $200,000)
Total Potential Earnings: $350,000+
About the Role
Thomas J. Henry Law is seeking a proven trial attorney to lead and develop a team of litigators at one of the largest and most successful personal injury law firms in the country.
This leadership role oversees a team of 4–6 attorneys and their litigation staff while guiding case strategy from intake through trial or resolution. Our firm invests heavily in litigation and prepares every case as though it will go to trial. Attorney Managers play a critical role in maintaining that standard while mentoring the next generation of trial lawyers.
This position is ideal for a courtroom-tested attorney who wants to expand their impact by shaping case strategy, mentoring developing litigators, and ensuring that every client receives the highest level of advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of 4–6 litigation attorneys and their support staffGuide case strategy from pre-litigation through trial or settlementConduct regular case strategy reviews and ensure cases are developed aggressively and efficientlyMentor junior attorneys in deposition practice, motion practice, negotiation strategy, and trial preparationEnsure cases are thoroughly prepared and positioned for trial when necessaryReview pleadings, discovery, and case evaluations prepared by team attorneysAssist attorneys with complex litigation issues, high-value cases, and trial preparationMaintain high standards for client communication, case progression, and legal work productFoster a culture of accountability, professional development, and exceptional client service
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law schoolActive Texas Bar license required5+ personal injury jury trials preferred (Plaintiff or Defense)Strong experience handling Texas personal injury cases from intake through litigation and trialDemonstrated leadership, mentorship, or supervisory experienceProven ability to evaluate cases, develop litigation strategy, and guide attorneys through complex litigationExcellent courtroom presence, negotiation skills, and litigation judgment
