Job Description

Position Summary: Casual
The Health Care Aide is responsible of ensuring the general wellbeing of Residents through the delivery of high-quality services in a manner that is consistent with the policies, procedures and philosophies of Park Place Seniors Living Inc. The Health Care Aide will provide basic assessment and treatments, personal care, medication administration, and delegated health services to the Residents, as well as providing support and give direction to the Care Team Members. The Health Care Aide will at all times demonstrate support of Sprucewood policies and procedures and conduct themselves in a professional manner in all situations.
Qualifications:

  • Completion of Health Care Aide or equivalent from a recognized
  • Clear criminal record security clearance with Vulnerable Sector included (no more than 6 months old)
  • Must be physically fit to perform lifting and transferring and able to be on your feet for long periods of time
  • Effective written and oral communication skills in the English language
  • Must be able to work independently, and as part of the interdisciplinary team
