Structural Heart Coordinator at Powers Health – Munster, Indiana

Reporting to the Heart & Valve Administrative Manager the Registered Nurse works within the multi-disciplinary healthcare system in an effort to coordinate care while offering individualized support to help guide, educate, and encourage the patient, their family and caregivers through their heart care journey. The nurse is responsible for the facilitation of structural heart program patients & procedures including but not limited to TAVR, TTVR, t-TEER, m-TEER, TMVR, TCAR, EVAR, TEVAR, LAAO, etc.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a current license by Indiana State Board of Nursing.
• BSN required.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
• 1-3 years’ experience in structural heart, interventional cardiology or cardiovascular surgery preferred.
• Database or registry software experience preferred.
• Computer proficient in Microsoft Office required.
• Obtains and maintains current CPR certification.
