Brandon Rushing Lawn & Garden Care is a family-owned landscape company with over 30 years of experience serving premium residential clients throughout Northern Virginia. We’ve built our company around long-term relationships, quality work, and helping clients truly enjoy their yards.
Now we’re growing our team and looking for a Landscape Account Manager who wants to grow with us.
This role is ideal for someone who:
- Enjoys working directly with homeowners
- Understands landscapes and plant material
- Likes identifying opportunities and solving problems
- Is comfortable recommending and closing work
- Wants to build strong client relationships and a long-term career
You won’t be cold-calling all day or starting from zero.
You’ll work with an established client base, meeting clients at their properties, walking the landscape with them, and helping them improve how their property looks, functions, and performs.
One meeting may involve discussing drainage issues around a patio. The next could be helping a client improve a struggling lawn, redesign foundation plantings, add seasonal color, improve irrigation coverage, or recommend enhancements that increase curb appeal and long-term property health.
We’re looking for someone who naturally sees opportunity and enjoys helping clients make confident decisions.
What You’ll Be Doing- Meeting with residential clients at their properties
- Conducting property walkthroughs and site evaluations
- Identifying enhancement opportunities and property improvements
- Recommending projects such as:
- Planting installations
- Drainage solutions
- Sod and turf improvements
- Seasonal color
- Irrigation upgrades
- Mulching and pruning
- Landscape enhancements
- Creating proposals and simple landscape recommendations
- Building long-term client relationships
- Growing and upgrading existing accounts
- Generating referrals and additional opportunities
- Working closely with operations teams to ensure strong execution
- Managing follow-up and opportunities within CRM systems
This role is a great fit for someone with experience in:
- Landscape maintenance
- Landscape enhancements
- Lawn and turf care
- Plant health care (PHC)
- Irrigation
- Drainage
- Outdoor property services
You do not need to be a landscape architect or high-end designer.
But you do need:
- Strong horticultural knowledge
- Confidence working with homeowners
- Good communication skills
- The ability to guide clients toward practical recommendations and decisions
