What we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have 2 or more years of IT support experience with competency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Windows 10 and 11 and Server 2019/2025.
Requirements:Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists users in resolving a variety of problems through discussion and diagnosis, serving as the single point of contact. Refers problems requiring specialized intervention to third-party providers.
- Provides first-level troubleshooting for servers, network connections and applications.
- Performs routine maintenance and repairs on computer and peripheral equipment, as directed.
- Helps business operations groups utilize information systems to improve their efficiency. Works with end users to determine needs of individual departments.
- Assists in ensuring proper information system operations and helps make necessary upgrades to computer equipment, hardware and software.
- Maintains company’s telephone and video surveillance systems.
- Installs, implements and tests systems updates and enhancements.
- Handles onboarding and offboarding of employees, including configuration of laptops/workstations, mobile devices, MFA and remote access. Reconfigures equipment upon allocation or return.
- Contributes to the development of processes and procedures.
- Conducts research and recommends the selection of IT equipment, applications, and supplies.
- Assists in the purchase and tracking of IT inventory.
- Provides after-hours and on-call support, as needed.
- Supports backup, recovery, and file management procedures.
- Assists in maintaining website and cybersecurity guidelines.
- Assists the IT Manager with system and network administration tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of support experience.
- IT - Computer Support certification preferred.
- Experience in computer software and hardware applications preferred.
- Competency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Windows 10 and 11 and Server 2019/2025.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
