CpK Interior Products Inc. is hiring a PROCESS SUPERVISOR to support our Injection Moulding team in cross‑functional operational activities. This role is responsible for leading a team of Injection Moulding Technicians to deliver safe, consistent, high-quality parts on time and at target cost. This role provides technical leadership and mentorship, drives continuous improvement (Kaizen) to reduce cycle time and defects, enforces tooling and mould maintenance standards, and coordinates new-product launches and process validations to meet customer specifications, while contributing to Plant SQDCM (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale) objectives.

What You’ll Do (Key responsibilities, not limited to)

  • Follows CpK policies and procedures, code of conduct, collective bargaining agreement with USW and Legislation
  • Works safely, takes timely action and/or reports unsafe acts or conditions, maintains 5S in work area.
  • Uses IATF 16949 methodologies to ensure complete customer satisfaction within the authorized budget
  • Develops positive working relationships with employees and contractors respecting diversity and inclusion
  • Identifies training gaps for Injection Technicians and Tooling personnel and develop gap closure plans
  • Determines root cause of failures and recommends equipment design and/or process changes as required
  • Investigates and addresses capability issues, non-standard processes and equipment conditions to prevent failures
  • Supports work groups in identifying and analyzing problems, weighing relevance and accuracy of information generating and evaluating alternative solutions, and resolves process issues as required
  • Regularly reviews developed processes to ensure they meet or exceed quality expectations and changing volume requirements as well as cost targets
  • Utilizes AM Methodology and 7 Steps of Die Maintenance for injection moulds, fixtures and associated equipment
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date inventory of individual tools and quality approval status
  • Coordinates the production of samples for testing as requested through Product Engineering
  • Plans and directs the installation, testing, operation, maintenance and repair of injection moulding equipment
  • Actively participates in the Product Development Team, providing technical input for team deliverables
  • Writes and reviews detailed reports on development work and trials including developing process parameters and procedures
  • Develops Automation programs for equipment with robotics integrated with other processes
  • Obtains quotes, enters purchase requisitions for materials, equipment or services. Works closely with third party tool shops in ensuring project deliverables are met, including new Mould/Tooling buy-off activities

What You Bring

  • Engineering degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering an asset
  • Tool and Die or Millwright skill trade certification an asset or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years supervisory level experience working in an Injection Moulding Operation (Automotive Sector preferred)
  • Experience in use and interpretation of SPC tools and techniques including X bar and R charts, Pareto analysis, process flow charts, control charts and capability concepts
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office, robotic programming, electronic
  • Critical thinking and problem solving tools & techniques
  • Technical credibility with hydraulics, pneumatics, tools, moulds, dies, jigs, and gauges
  • Control of Non-conforming Product/Tagging
  • Understanding of Plant KPI’s

Work Schedule & Pay

  • Schedule: Full‑time, On-site, Manufacturing Operations
  • Hours: Monday–Friday, standard hours. Weekend work depending on position when scheduled as per customer demand
  • Overtime: As required, in accordance with company policy and applicable legislation
  • Compensation Range: $60,000–$80,000 annual

This range reflects our current expectations as of this posting’s date. Your final salary offer will consider various key factors, including education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographical locations, as well as the needs and requirements of the business.
