Job Description

Position Overview

The Line Cook plays a key role in delivering consistent, high‑quality food that reflects our standards and commitment to great customer experiences. This position is responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking menu items according to established recipes, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and supporting smooth kitchen operations during service.

Line Cooks work closely with the kitchen team to ensure accuracy, speed, and presentation of every dish. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow directions, and a steady, reliable work ethic—especially during high‑volume periods. A successful Line Cook is dependable, efficient, and takes pride in producing food that customers love.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, portion standards, and quality expectations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation throughout service
  • Set up and stock stations with necessary ingredients, tools, and equipment
  • Follow proper food handling, storage, and safety procedures at all times
  • Assist with prep work, including chopping, portioning, labeling, and rotating inventory
  • Communicate clearly with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and accurate order execution
  • Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation before items leave the kitchen
  • Support dishwashing, cleaning, and closing tasks as needed
  • Work efficiently during high‑volume periods while maintaining consistency and accuracy
  • Follow direction from kitchen leadership and contribute to a positive team environment
  • Qualifications

  • Previous line cook or kitchen experience
  • Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation practice
  • Ability to follow recipes, portion guidelines, and verbal instructions
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent quality
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Team‑oriented attitude with good communication skills
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and peak business hours
  • 18+ years of age
