Shipping at Pete DeLuke & Associates Inc – Sidney, Ohio

We need all associates to be able to lift 50lbs, stand for long periods, work at a fast pace and able to bend and kneel at the waist.

The checker/shipper will be moving baskets on dolly’s, pickup baskets by hand. Each baskets weighs 30-40lbs.

• Checker/Shipper to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Analyze shipping processes to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-effective solutions
• Coordinate with carriers and vendors to negotiate rates and establish service-level agreements
• Monitor and report on freight performance metrics, adjusting strategies to meet organizational goals
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the seamless integration of freight operations with overall supply chain activities
• Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
