Position Details- Role: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Type: Fulltime
- Location: Cortland/Ithaca, NY
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking and physical exams.
- Diagnose and manage a variety of allergic and asthmatic conditions, such as hay fever, food allergies, eczema, and asthma.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Administer allergy tests, interpret results, and provide patient education.
- Perform routine procedures such as skin testing, spirometry, and biologic therapy administration.
- Collaborate with our team of specialists to ensure high-quality patient care.
Qualifications- Current NP or PA license in New York.
- Certification as an NP or PA (e.g., AANP, ANCC, NCCPA).
- Experience in allergy, asthma, or immunology preferred but not required (training available).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Passion for patient education and preventative care.

Primary job duties entail diagnosing, treating, and managing our allergy, asthma, and immune deficient patients. Ensuring continuity of care by communicating pertinent findings to Dr. Smith in a timely manner. We strive for patient satisfaction and thorough electronic documentation, utilizing MEDENT to it's fullest capabilities.
