Retail Team Member - VA at Superfly – Tysons Corner, Virginia

Job Summary:

OGX is seeking Retail Team Members to assist with retail and photo operations while also preserving the cleanliness of the space. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has knowledge of guest support and high level retail interactions. This part-time position may be scheduled up to four (4) days OR 26 hours per week. This part time position pays $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Retail Team Lead to ensure that the area is clean
• Maintain cleanliness of the retail area including sweeping floors, wiping down surfaces, and removing trash
• Have a “go beyond” mindset when helping guests.
• Create a fun and welcoming environment for guests
• Answer questions about retail items
• Cash out guests
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary standing position more than 75% of the time
• Must be able to move about inside the exhibit space
• Must be able to commit to a minimum of two shifts, one of which must be on a weekend day
• Constantly positions self to clean and maintain exhibit equipment
• Frequently lifts and moves items / equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
• Able to work a variable schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Your experience:

• High school diploma (or its equivalent) preferred
• Knowledge of cash handling
• Knowledge of guest services
• Previous retail experience
