About This Position

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:Oversee all facets of Project Management by coordinating the overall planning and execution of a project. This includes leading the planning and development of all project deliverables. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Direct and supervise assigned projects (people, budgets, etc.) for multiple customers. Responsible for:Project conception to include attending meetings and preparing labor and material quotesProject planning to include site verification, attending construction meetings and truck planningProject execution ensuring full installation coordination and resolution of site-specific issues. Ensure appropriate procedures and standards are followedProject control by regular site visits and oversight of schedulesProject close including punch and invoicingDevelop strong working relationships with clients at multiple levels within an organization as well as internal team.Communicate project status with customer and teamReview job site to ensure safe and efficient project installation Ensure all issues or change order requests are appropriately documented and addressedResolve all issues and close out project Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. KEY SELECTION AND SUCCESS FACTORS WORK EXPERIENCE:Minimum of 3years’ project management experience Experience with making formal presentationsOffice furniture experience preferred EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required; some college preferred OTHER/PREFERRED:Proficiency in MS Office requiredExperience creating, communicating, and implementing project plans Experience creating and controlling budgets Strong organizational and time management skillsEffective written and verbal communicationGood judgment, problem solving and decision making skillsAbility to multi-task and work with many interruptionsAbility to work and communicate with a diverse group of peopleProficiency reading installation plans and blueprints WORK ENVIRONMENT: (overtime, travel, physical demands, conditions)The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Height 1 flight; Frequency up to 3-5 times per day Employee occasionally walks on level surfaces to: interact with all operational departments, retrieve needed materials, to access lobby display, and attend meetings. Duration 45 minutes per day; Distance up to 1,500 feet per dayEmployee occasionally stands on level surfaces during interaction with customers and other personal. Duration 30 minutes per dayEmployee continuously sits using the computer, talking on the phone, processing project paper work, and attending. Duration up to 7 hours per dayEmployee constantly reaches out during work at desk. Height forward reach waist to chest; Frequency up to 30 times per hourEmployee must rarely bend, squat, stoop, or kneel during filing tasks. Employee is occasionally exposed to ambient temperatures in the warehouse.Work overtime as needed including evenings and weekends as needed
