Palmetto Corp is seeking a Flagger (Traffic Control) to ensure the safety of motorists, equipment, and crew members in active work zones. This position is responsible for managing traffic flow and requires strong communication skills, attentiveness, and a commitment to safety.

• Follow all Palmetto Corp safety guidelines and procedures.
• Control traffic using stop/slow paddles, flags, and portable signs.
• Use lighted wands and illuminated signaling devices for nighttime operations.
• Set up and break down traffic control devices (e.g., signs, cones, barrels).
• Stay alert and ensure the smooth movement of traffic through work zones.
• Communicate clearly with other flaggers and team members.
• Identify and respond to potentially dangerous traffic situations.
• Maintain professionalism and handle interactions with agitated drivers calmly.
• Assist the crew with other tasks as needed.

Work overtime, nights, and weekends as required.

• Must adhere to all safety regulations.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Regularly exposed to loud noise, dust, and outdoor weather conditions.
• Must be able to stand or walk for long periods.
• Must be able to perform repetitive motions with hands, arms, and feet.
• Ability to lift and move up to 20 lbs.
