About This Position
What You’ll Do:
- Operate top-tier equipment like Caterpillar 140H and John Deere 672GP to perform grading, excavation, embankment shaping, and finish work to tight specifications.
- Lay asphalt, base, and other materials with accuracy and efficiency.
- Blade haul roads and contribute to general site work with a focus on quality and safety.
- Travel to diverse job sites and adapt to changing locations and schedules.
- 4+ years of Motor Grader / finish blade experience.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Trimble GPS.
- Solid understanding of construction practices and site operations.
- Ability to service, oil, grease, and make equipment adjustments.
- Familiarity with proper worksite signals and safety protocols.
- Strong background in heavy civil construction is highly preferred.
- Excellent housekeeping and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with various measurements (metric, feet, hundredths).
- Outstanding communication and teamwork skills.
