Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintain and grow existing accounts via phone, email, and in-person travel
• Identify and establish new accounts through cold calling.
• Travel to customer locations to identify needs and provide solutions.
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
• Learn and become proficient with all J-Tech product lines.
• Provide demonstrations and training on J-Tech products at customer locations.
• Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.
• Develop relationships with vendor sales representatives and look for opportunities to bring new products to customers.
• Provide feedback of industry challenges, problems and potential solutions to feed R&D process.
• Manage time to maximize efficiency and profitability for company.
• Provide timely, detailed quotes to customers.
• Utilize CRM and mapping software as directed
• Attend tradeshows as needed.
• Work closely with inside-sales team members.
Education and/or Experience:
- Associates degree or equivalent from a college or technical school, or 1-3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid drivers' license, clean-driving record, and be able to pass insurance background and screening check.
- Effectively communicate both orally and written
Sales Territory
- Visit customers in person within the following states: Western PA, OH, WV, IN, IL, MI, TX,
- Call and email customers within the following states: WI, MN, IA, MO, AR, LA, MS, OK, KS, NE, SD, ND
- Must be able to travel 2-3 days a week
Salary negotiable and depends on experience and skill set.
Starting at $80,000.00 base salary. With the potential to make $115,000.00 or more with commission the first year.
