Starting Pay: $18.00/hour
Pay Increase: $19.25/hour + 16 Hours PTO upon successful Medication Certification

- CPR & First Aid Certification (or willing to obtain)
- PMT (Physical & Psychological Management Training) Certification (training provided if not certified)
- Medication Administration Certification (training provided if not certified)

As a Direct Support Coordinator/Client Support Coordinator, you will provide care and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, including those with behavioral support needs, in group homes and community settings. Duties include:
- Assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, hygiene, meals, and household tasks.
- Supporting individuals with community outings, appointments, shopping, recreation, and banking.
- Providing safety monitoring, crisis intervention, and medication administration.
- Supporting individuals with behavioral challenges by implementing care strategies and interventions.
- Encouraging independence by helping with skills development and personal goals.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and care records.
- Ensuring the safety, dignity, and privacy of all individuals served.
- Safely transporting individuals (company vehicles provided – no CDL required).

Attend required staff meetings and actively participate in in-services and trainings.
Work cooperatively with supervisory and other staff within the Agency and those from other agencies.
Communicate effectively, professionally, and respectfully to all clients, Agency staff, DDS, parents/guardians, community and outside Agency personnel.
Requirements:QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent. A minimum of two years experience working with individuals with developmental and/or behaviors challenges is preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret English documents such as safety rules, maintenance instructions, medical reports and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence in English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables.

The employee frequently lifts and/or moves up to 75 pounds and may be required to exert in excess of 100 lbs. of force when needing to initiate physical restraint procedures (training provided).
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
