Host - Taxi's Grill and Bar at Restaurants, Inc. – Omaha, Nebraska

Purpose:
To greet and accommodate the needs of each guest in a manner such that we ensure his or her continued patronage. Sincere dedication from every one of our Team Members to provide an exceptional experience and outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests as they enter
• Inform the guest of any specials and their server's name
• Anticipate guest needs i.e. high chairs, booster chair or booth/table
• Know your availability
  1. Which server is next in rotation
  2. What tables you have available
• Keep accurate records on floor chart and rotation sheet
• Answer phone and provide accurate information on pricing, location, hours and menu items
• Run the “wait sheet” providing accurate wait times to guests
• Assist servers in pre-busing, running food and filling beverages
• Busing tables
• Reset tables
• General cleanliness i.e. floors, restrooms, doors and windows
• Complete side work duties
• Observe guests and report any concerns or complaints to Management prior to the guest leaving
• Final greetings to guests and invite them to return

Physical requirements:

• 100% Ability to communicate clearly in English
• 100% Walk and stand for long periods of time ( 6-8 hours)
• 80% Reach, bend, stoop, wipe and lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications:

• Must be 16 years old
• Must have friendly and outgoing personality and demeanor
• Must be a problem solver and have the ability to keep calm under pressure
• Be able to perform physical requirements
