About This Position
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable cashier to join our hospital team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling financial transactions while providing a excellent and empathetic customer service experience to our patients and their families as well as our hospital employees.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Successful completion of general and department-specific orientation
- Some cashier or customer service experience
- Basic math and money-handling skills
Preferred:
- Preferable Experience in hospitality, a hospital or healthcare setting
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities
- Proficiency in using Micros
Scheduling Requirements:
- Shift Working
- Weekend and holiday requirements
- Full Time
Essential Functions:
- Accurately process all cash and credit payments
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families
- Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area
- Handle all questions and inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
- Assist in other areas as needed based on staffing and patient flow.
- Help maintain the cleanliness of the Dining Room when not busy at the register
- Help refill the condiment stations
- Help refill baverages, chips and snacks throuout the dinning room
