About This Position
Meta Power Solutions, a leading provider of Transformers, LV switch Boards, MV Switch Gear, Substation equipment, and electrical distribution in Lake Park, Florida, is seeking a talented and motivated Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Sales Engineer will play a key role in driving sales, providing technical expertise, and building strong customer relationships to support the growth and success of our organization.
This job is on sight at our Palm Beach Gardens office location M-F.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary technical resource for the sales team, providing expertise on company products and solutions to meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to understand customer requirements and propose appropriate technical solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical training sessions for customers to showcase the features and benefits of our products.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their technical inquiries and providing post-sales support as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, quotations, and technical documentation for sales opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor products, and market developments to inform sales strategies and product improvements.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and customer visits to promote company products and generate sales leads.
- Achieve sales targets and objectives set by the sales management team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in a technical sales or sales engineering role, preferably in the power solutions industry.
-MUST HAVE Experience in sales of Transformers, LV switch Boards, MV Switch Gear, Substation equipment, and electrical distribution
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as needed to customer sites, trade shows, and conferences.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and technical presentation tools.
