Registered Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory Therapy – PRN

What to expect as a Respiratory Therapist:

• Safely administer Respiratory Care services and procedures as ordered by Physicians.
• Consult with other Hospital personnel and Physicians appropriately.
• Communicate well, have excellent customer service, and strong team-building skills.
• Make clinical decisions whenever necessary and be able to work independently.
• Exhibit competency in performing all procedures performed by the Respiratory Therapy Department as outlined by the Policy and Procedure Manuals.
• Maintain and clean equipment used within the Respiratory Therapy Department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Attend in-service activities to further staff development.

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited CoARC Respiratory Care Program.
• Certified and/or Registered and have current Missouri Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
• One to two years of previous Respiratory Therapy experience desired, and some Pulmonary Function experience preferred.
