Responsibilities
Minimum requirements for all Nurses:
- BSN or ADN from a program accredited by Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA) 30 days before start date
- Associate degree Nurses required to enroll in BSN program within 3 years of hire and complete within 5 years of hire
- Current, unencumbered Oregon State Registered Nurse License
- BLS at time of hire and must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- BLS must not expire during orientation
- Ability to perform the job duties with or without accommodation
Department Specific Requirements:
- At least 1 year of current nursing experience
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification required within 6 months of hire
- Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) required within 6 months of hire
- Nuclear Medicine Medication Administration and Bio-Hazardous Waste Class required within 6 months of hire
- Internal applicants: Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited program
- National certification in the specialty area is desired (recommended).
- Certified Clinical Research Professionals (CCRP) or Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP)
- Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN)
- Medical-Surgical Nursing Certification
