POSITION TITLE: Class A CDL Driver
DEPARTMENT: Transportation

Position Summary:
The Class A CDL Driver is responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations while adhering to all federal, state, and company regulations. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to safety, and strong time management to ensure timely deliveries and maintain customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a commercial vehicle with a Class A CDL license to transport goods locally, regionally, or nationally.

• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.

• Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently, securing loads as required.

• Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage reports, and other required documentation.

• Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.

• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.

• Report any vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or incidents promptly.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record.

• Proven experience as a commercial truck driver preferred.

• Knowledge of transportation and safety regulations.

• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads as required.

• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.

• Reliable, responsible, and safety-conscious.
