Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Mechanic to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery, ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of Focke 350 or Protos 80/ 90 machine systems and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise. The Machine Mechanic will play a crucial role in fabricating high-quality products that meet our standards for precision and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Operate Focke 350 or Protos 80/ 90 machines, and other manufacturing equipment to produce cigarettes.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) documentation.
• Utilize logic controllers to monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments.
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
• Perform basic math calculations to verify dimensions and tolerances of machined parts using calipers and other measuring tools.
• Fabricate components as required, adhering to quality standards throughout the production process.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols to minimize hazards.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and resolve any operational issues.
