Job Description
Colorado Springs Cardiology is dedicated to providing comprehensive cardiac and vascular care with a personal touch. We are seeking a Lead Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to serve as a Cardiology Extender alongside our physicians and provide clinical and operational leadership across the APP team.
Position SummaryThe Lead APP is a working clinical leader who delivers direct patient care while providing governance, oversight, and coordination for the APP team. This role ensures the team consistently delivers high-quality, patient-centered care through APP scheduling, performance feedback, physician collaboration on quality, KPI reporting, and driving overall team effectiveness. The Lead APP bridges clinical staff and practice leadership, aligning quality standards, operational expectations, and professional conduct—with patient care quality as the primary measure of success.
Essential FunctionsClinical Care DeliveryThis is a clinical leadership position requiring regular on-site presence. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. (Hospital Coverage?)
Physical RequirementsThis position requires full range of body motion. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, and stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to handle or operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 25 pounds.
