POSITION SUMMARY:

The Human Resources Generalist III supports talent acquisition and HR operations by managing full-cycle recruitment and onboarding. This role posts and advertises open positions, screens candidates, coordinates interviews, and guides new hires through onboarding. The HR Representative works closely with department leaders to understand staffing needs and support workforce planning.

Recruitment Outreach:

• Represent the organization at college job fairs, recruiting events, and technology school visits to help build strong talent pipelines.

HR Operations Support:

• Serve as a backup to the Benefits Specialist by assisting with benefits administration as needed.

• Provide general support for HR functions and initiatives to promote efficient, compliant HR operations.

PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Collaborate with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.

2. Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.

3. Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.

4. Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.

5. Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.

6. Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.

7. Implements new-hire orientation and employee recognition programs.

8. Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including but not limited to disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.

9. Processing Tuition Reimbursement Requests

10. Working with Uniform Stop, setting up visits, and creating employee vouchers

11. Adhere to all organization policies, including (but not limited to) job description, certification/licensure requirements, mission statement, HIPAA, confidentiality standards, and patients’ rights.

12. Stay up to date with organizational communication and directives.

13. Maintains employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data

14. Provides support by entering, formatting, printing, and scanning information

15. Assist with maintaining the accuracy of HRIS data.

16. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.

• At least three years of managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process are highly preferred.

SKILLS:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

• Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems

WORKING CONDITIONS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift 20 lbs. using appropriate body mechanics. Utilizes good hearing, vocal, and visual skills. Occasionally, it requires bending, stretching, pushing, and pulling. May be exposed to communicable diseases.
