This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Promotions Manager, Marketplace based in Canada.

This role is an opportunity to lead promotional strategy and execution within a dynamic marketplace environment.
You will own the planning, delivery, and optimization of campaigns designed to increase engagement, conversion, and revenue growth.
The position combines strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making to maximize promotional impact.
You will collaborate closely with vendors, customers, and cross-functional teams to deliver seamless campaign experiences.

Accountabilities:

As the Promotions Manager, Marketplace, you will be responsible for developing and managing promotional programs that support business goals while improving customer and partner engagement. You will lead campaign strategy, execution, optimization, and reporting while working across teams to ensure successful delivery.

  • Develop and optimize promotional calendars to drive engagement, conversions, and revenue targets.
  • Identify customer, regional, and market-specific opportunities to improve campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with vendor partners to secure promotional participation, discounts, and value-driven offers.
  • Partner with customer-facing teams to increase campaign adoption and maximize redemption results.
  • Lead end-to-end campaign execution, including requirements gathering, creative coordination, setup, testing, launch, and performance tracking.
  • Create targeted promotional strategies based on customer segments, geographic regions, and product categories.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and provide recommendations to improve future initiatives.
  • Develop reporting and insights to communicate promotional impact and support business decisions.
  • Stay informed on marketplace trends, promotional best practices, and opportunities to enhance customer experiences.
  • Work with product and technology teams to improve promotional tools and marketplace capabilities.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate has experience managing promotional initiatives, marketplace operations, or e-commerce campaigns, with a strong ability to combine strategy, execution, and analytics. You should be comfortable collaborating with multiple stakeholders and using data to drive decisions.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in promotions, marketplace operations, e-commerce, partner marketing, category management, or similar disciplines.
  • Experience planning, executing, and optimizing marketing campaigns across digital channels.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign performance data and translate insights into action.
  • Experience managing relationships with internal teams, customers, and external partners.
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on campaign execution.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for improving engagement and conversion.
  • Experience with cross-channel marketing platforms such as Iterable is an asset.
  • Experience with data visualization and analytics tools such as Tableau or Amplitude is an asset.
