This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Multi-Media Specialist based in India.

We are seeking a skilled Multimedia Specialist with expertise in e-learning localization and digital content workflows to support the delivery of high-quality multilingual experiences.
This role combines technical knowledge, creative problem-solving, and customer collaboration to manage multimedia localization projects from planning through final delivery.
You will work with cross-functional teams to optimize content workflows, ensure technical accuracy, and deliver seamless localized learning experiences.

Accountabilities:

The Multi-Media Specialist will manage end-to-end multimedia localization workflows, ensuring accurate, scalable, and technically compliant delivery of e-learning and digital content projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Act as a subject matter expert in multimedia and e-learning localization workflows, supporting customer projects and internal teams.
  • Scope, plan, and manage multimedia localization projects across multiple languages while ensuring quality, efficiency, and timely delivery.
  • Prepare source e-learning files created with tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, and similar platforms for localization.
  • Extract and manage translatable content, audio assets, and visual components while maintaining content integrity.
  • Reintegrate translated and localized materials into final e-learning modules, ensuring functionality and linguistic accuracy.
  • Manage localization projects involving video, voiceovers, subtitles, dubbing, and interactive learning assets.
  • Provide guidance on localization-ready content practices and identify opportunities to improve automation and workflows.
  • Operate localization platforms and tools supporting both AI-powered and human-led content processes.
  • Review localized e-learning packages, including SCORM-based content, for technical quality, usability, and compliance with standards.
  • Perform final quality checks and prepare completed files for delivery to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Production, Operations, Engineering, and other teams to support customer success.
  • Maintain delivery standards by meeting project timelines, SLAs, and performance targets.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate has strong experience in multimedia localization, e-learning technologies, and digital content management, combined with excellent organizational and communication skills. Required qualifications include:

  • 3+ years of experience in e-learning localization, multimedia localization, or related digital content production environments.
  • Strong expertise in preparing and localizing content created with Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Adobe Captivate, or similar authoring tools.
  • Solid understanding of SCORM/xAPI standards, LMS integrations, and common e-learning file formats.
  • Experience with video localization, subtitling, editing, voiceover integration, dubbing, and subtitle synchronization.
  • Proficiency with video and audio editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Camtasia, Audacity, or similar applications.
  • Familiarity with multimedia file formats and localization-friendly formats including XLIFF, JSON, XML, STRINGS, SRT, and VTT.
  • Experience with CAT tools, translation memory systems, TMX editors, OCR tools, and alignment software is a plus.
  • Understanding of character encoding, formatting requirements, and localization quality assurance processes.
  • Ability to manage large multimedia repositories and work with file transfer systems such as FTP, SFTP, and cloud-based platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable collaborating with global teams in a remote working environment.
