Job Description

Content Marketing Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Content Marketing Specialist based in Canada.

This is an AI-native content and growth role for a marketer who combines strong editorial judgment with hands-on execution. You will create content, visuals, landing pages, and search strategies designed to reach and convert modern audiences. The role sits at the intersection of content marketing, SEO, AI search, creative production, and conversion optimization. You will use generative AI as a core part of your workflow while knowing when human judgment and refinement are essential. You will have significant ownership over channels and initiatives, with the freedom to experiment, test new tools, and move ideas from concept to launch. The ideal environment is fast-moving and entrepreneurial, where curiosity, initiative, and high-quality execution are valued.

Accountabilities:
  • Produce realistic, on-brand imagery and video for landing pages, advertising campaigns, and social media using current generative AI tools, while maintaining a consistent visual identity across published materials.
  • Develop creative assets for paid campaigns across Google and Meta, applying strong judgment to ensure AI-generated content feels polished, authentic, and aligned with the intended brand experience.
  • Own landing pages end to end, translating products, campaigns, and target audiences into compelling copy, page structures, visual direction, conversion flows, and clear calls to action.
  • Use AI-powered page generation tools to build and iterate quickly, while applying hands-on editing and refinement to improve hierarchy, clarity, objection handling, mobile experience, and conversion potential.
  • Treat landing pages and other marketing assets as hypotheses to be tested, using experimentation and performance insights to continuously improve conversion rates and user journeys.
  • Lead organic search strategy across keyword research, search intent, on-page optimization, content structure, and technical SEO recommendations.
  • Optimize content for AI-driven search experiences and answer engines, including Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini, while applying structures that support featured snippets, FAQs, entity recognition, and semantic search.
  • Monitor organic and content performance using tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, or SEMrush, turning performance data into actionable recommendations.
  • Write and edit blog and website content that is designed to rank, engage readers, and drive meaningful action, while translating complex clinical and product concepts into accessible language.
  • Identify content gaps and proactively develop opportunities rather than relying solely on an assigned editorial calendar or predefined topics.
  • Work closely with clinical stakeholders to validate health-related claims and ensure published content remains medically accurate, compliant, consistent, and aligned with the required healthcare marketing standards.
  • Maintain a consistent tone of voice and quality standard across all published content and creative assets, treating regulatory requirements as an integral part of the marketing process.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of professional experience in content marketing, SEO, growth marketing, or a closely related field, with a portfolio or tangible examples of work that demonstrate your impact.
  • Demonstrated hands-on fluency with generative AI tools for copywriting, imagery, creative production, and landing-page generation, with the ability to explain how and why you select different tools for different tasks.
  • Strong understanding of on-page SEO, search intent, content structure, and the fundamentals of organic growth.
  • Excellent written English, combined with strong self-editing skills and a sharp eye for clarity, quality, tone, and audience relevance.
  • Experience working with a CMS such as WordPress and comfort making basic HTML or CSS changes when needed to improve or launch marketing experiences.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of marketing channels and initiatives, including operating effectively in environments where you may be the primary marketer responsible for getting work from idea to execution.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with product, engineering, clinical, and other stakeholders.
  • Genuine curiosity about emerging AI tools and workflows, with a willingness to continuously test, evaluate, and adopt technologies that can improve marketing execution.
  • Experience in healthcare, wellness, telehealth, or another regulated industry is considered an advantage.
  • Experience with paid social or paid search creative, conversion rate optimization, A/B testing, video generation or editing, and startup or early-stage environments is also desirable.
Benefits
  • Fully remote opportunity based in Canada, providing flexibility to work from your preferred location.
  • Significant ownership over content, SEO, creative, landing pages, and growth initiatives, with the opportunity to build and manage channels from the ground up.
  • Hands-on exposure to an AI-native marketing environment where generative tools are integrated into creative, content, analytics, and production workflows.
  • Opportunity to experiment with emerging AI models, creative tools, page-generation platforms, and AI-driven search technologies.
  • High degree of autonomy and the opportunity to work directly across marketing, product, engineering, and clinical functions.
  • Opportunity to contribute to digital-first healthcare and patient-centered marketing initiatives in a rapidly evolving industry.
  • A fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment that values initiative, experimentation, strong judgment, and high-quality execution.
