The M3 Cloudsuite Finance Consultant, Senior will lead finance-focused ERP implementations, upgrades, optimization initiatives, and client support engagements.
This role combines deep finance and accounting expertise with hands-on knowledge of Infor M3 to deliver scalable solutions aligned with business objectives.
You will guide finance workstreams from discovery and process design through configuration, testing, deployment, cutover, and post-go-live support.
The position requires close collaboration with client stakeholders, project managers, developers, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into effective solutions.
You will work across financial processes including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, cash management, reporting, and cost accounting.
The role also offers significant client-facing responsibility, including executive workshops, solution demonstrations, training, troubleshooting, and relationship management.
This is a fully remote opportunity with up to 30% client travel for an experienced consultant who wants to make a measurable impact through enterprise transformation.

• Lead finance workstreams across discovery, process design, requirements analysis, configuration, testing, deployment, cutover, and post-go-live support.
• Provide senior functional expertise for client support cases by investigating issues, identifying root causes, recommending solutions, and coordinating with technical and cross-functional resources.
• Facilitate workshops with finance leaders, process owners, and subject-matter experts to understand current-state processes and define future-state requirements.
• Configure and advise on Infor M3 finance capabilities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, cash management, financial reporting, and cost accounting as applicable to each engagement.
• Translate business requirements into practical solution designs that align with standard M3 functionality, client objectives, internal controls, and established implementation practices.
• Identify functional gaps, evaluate alternatives, recommend appropriate solutions, and communicate business impacts, dependencies, risks, and tradeoffs.
• Support financial master data, data migration and conversion, integrations, reporting, security, and reconciliation activities in collaboration with technical and business teams.
• Contribute to intercompany and multi-legal-entity process design and implementation activities.
• Provide demonstrations, training, documentation, and ongoing support to help end users adopt and effectively use implemented solutions.
• Support post-go-live stabilization and transition activities to prepare client operations teams for ongoing system support.
• Maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication, high-quality delivery, and effective resolution of business and technical challenges.
• Collaborate with broader consulting teams by sharing knowledge, reusable approaches, implementation practices, and lessons learned.
• Identify opportunities to enhance client environments and improve business processes through M3 capabilities and related technologies.
• Contribute to successful delivery across multiple engagements while managing priorities, deadlines, and client expectations.

• 5+ years of consulting experience with Infor M3, including multiple implementation, upgrade, or optimization engagements involving M3 finance.
• 5+ years of experience as a finance consultant working directly with financial processes and controls, including record-to-report, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, financial close, and management reporting.
• Completion of at least 3 full lifecycle finance implementations using Infor M3.
• Strong professional background in finance and accounting, with demonstrated knowledge of financial processes, controls, and business requirements.
• Experience with data migration, intercompany processes, and multi-legal-entity environments.
• Previous external client-facing experience across multiple organizational levels, including senior leadership.
• Strong understanding of Infor M3 CloudSuite and related technologies, with the ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, relationship-building, demonstration, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the confidence to evaluate complex requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while consistently meeting deadlines.
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Ability to travel up to 30% to provide client services.
• BA/BS in MIS, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with Infor OS, ION, IDM, security, workflows, reporting, or analytics tools is preferred.
• Experience with multi-company, multi-site, multi-currency, or global ERP implementations is preferred.
• Industry experience in manufacturing, food and beverage, distribution, equipment, or other sectors that commonly use M3 is preferred.
• Accounting certification, M3 certification, or comparable professional credentials is preferred.
