CNC Operator
Erie Industrial Products (EIP) – Oberlin, OH
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Position: Full-Time | Onsite

Erie Industrial Products (EIP) is looking for an experienced CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team in Oberlin, Ohio. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in precision machining, understands CNC setups and operations, and is committed to producing high-quality parts.
If you have hands-on CNC mill experience, enjoy solving machining challenges, and want to grow your skills in a team-oriented manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and operate CNC mills to produce precision machined parts
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and production documentation
- Change fixtures, tooling, and tooling offsets to ensure accurate machine setups
- Edit CNC programs and make adjustments to G & M Codes, speeds, and feeds
- Work with X, Y, and Z axes, with exposure to 4th- and 5th-axis machining
- Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring equipment
- Monitor part quality and make necessary machine adjustments to maintain specifications and tolerances
- Troubleshoot machining issues and partner with production and engineering teams to resolve problems
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Meet established quality and production expectations
- Perform additional duties as assigned
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ year of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience setting up and operating CNC machinery
- Knowledge of X, Y, and Z axes and an understanding of 4th- and 5th-axis machining
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Knowledge of G & M Codes and basic CNC program editing
- Experience using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
