Senior Enterprise Account Executive - Bay Area

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Enterprise Account Executive - Bay Area based in the United States.

This is a high-impact enterprise sales role focused on growing a strategic territory within the San Francisco Bay Area.
You will drive new customer acquisition while building trusted relationships with senior Security, IT, Engineering, and technology leaders.
The role combines strategic prospecting, consultative selling, complex deal management, and ecosystem development.
You will work closely with Sales Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, Business Development, and channel partners throughout the customer journey.
As a key contributor to territory growth, you will create demand, uncover new use cases, and develop repeatable strategies for winning enterprise accounts.

Accountabilities
  • Build awareness and generate demand among enterprise prospects and customers across the San Francisco Bay Area, helping them understand the business value of an AI-powered automation and workflow platform.
  • Clearly communicate and demonstrate the capabilities, use cases, and value of complex SaaS solutions to technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Own multiple enterprise opportunities throughout the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through negotiation and close, while consistently achieving quarterly targets.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive territory and account plan using customer, community, technology alliance, and channel ecosystems to accelerate growth.
  • Prospect proactively for new business while nurturing inbound opportunities and working closely with Business Development representatives to create a healthy pipeline.
  • Partner with regional channel and technology alliance organizations to identify, develop, and progress qualified customer opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Engineering and other internal teams to deliver compelling, technically credible solutions throughout the sales process.
  • Work cross-functionally with Legal, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and other teams to provide an exceptional customer experience.
  • Identify new and diverse customer use cases and communicate market feedback, product needs, and customer insights to product and go-to-market teams.
  • Work with sales leadership to develop repeatable approaches for new-logo acquisition and establish sustainable growth within the territory.
  • Maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Security, IT, Engineering, DevOps, and related functions.
  • Represent the organization's core values by operating with speed, simplicity, sound judgment, curiosity, and a strong customer focus.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in quota-carrying SaaS sales, with a demonstrated history of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proven enterprise sales success within the San Francisco Bay Area and experience developing relationships across strategic accounts.
  • Experience selling technical SaaS solutions to senior technical and executive stakeholders, such as CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Engineering, DevOps leaders, and IT executives.
  • Demonstrated ability to build territories or geographic patches from the ground up, generate demand, establish pipeline, and develop new customer opportunities.
  • Strong outbound prospecting skills combined with the ability to qualify, nurture, and advance inbound demand.
  • Experience working with regional IT channel partners, technology alliances, or reseller ecosystems to generate and accelerate opportunities.
  • Strong consultative selling, account planning, pipeline management, negotiation, and complex deal-closing capabilities.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Sales Engineering, Legal, Product, and other business functions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into clear business value.
  • A curious, coachable, and growth-oriented mindset, with a willingness to seek feedback, learn from setbacks, challenge assumptions, and continuously improve.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced scale-up environment where individual ownership and measurable impact are highly valued.
  • Passion for technology, enterprise software, automation, AI, and helping customers solve complex business and operational challenges.
  • Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area and able to regularly attend in-person meetings and events in the region.
  • Ability to work legally in the United States; candidates should be prepared to address any current or future sponsorship requirements.

  • Annual On-Target Earnings: $320,000 USD, combining salary and commission.
