Job Summary


Under the supervision of the Program Director, the PACE Center Manager oversees and manages the daily operations of the Program for All Inclusive Care of the Elderly (PACE), including operations of rehabilitation, recreation, nutrition, transportation, and administrative support teams. This includes ensuring that appropriate personnel are trained and perform their functions within the organization, operational services standards and budgetary criteria are met, and operations are in compliance with all governing regulations. Assumes the Program Director’s responsibilities in their absence. This position is a member of the Interdisciplinary Team, pursuant to 42 CFR §§ 460.102(b) and (d), as both the Center Manager role and also backup for Transportation Administrator.

Job Requirements

The requirements listed must be representative of the knowledge, skills, minimum education, training, licensure, experience, and/or ability required. Education - Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, or a health or human services field, or Clinical degree/diploma required. Professional clinical licensure and Master’s Degree preferred.
Experience - Five (5) years of health care experience, and three (3) years of management experience, preferably in a geriatric care setting preferred. One (1) year experience working with the frail and elderly population preferred; if not met, required to train upon hire on the complexities of serving a frail and elderly population.
Other Requirement(s) - Must have active CPR and First Aid Certification within 1 month of hire. Either training in or related experience with direction of a health care program. Knowledge of the physical, mental, and social needs of the elderly.
