Sterile Processing Technician, Lead in Soldotna, Alaska at Central Peninsula Hospital

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the director of the Surgical Services Director, this position is responsible for the operational functions of CPH Sterile Processing Department. Responsibilities to include compliance with regulatory agencies, including the Joint Commission's standards and supervising daily activities of SPD staff including, staffing schedule and assignments, biologicals, inventory sheets, monthly reports, needs of daily surgical schedule, instrument repairs and call schedule.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year Sterile processing Tech experience
• One year of SPD experience at CPH
• BLSP within 30 days
• CRCST Certification within one year of employment

PREFERRED:

• Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER)
