Position Title: B Operator (Direct Hire Opportunity) -JTEKT Blythewood

Location: Blythewood, South Carolina

Industrial Direct Hire

Description: Grinding Machine Operator (B Operator) - Blythewood, SC

Pay: $19.12/hour + $1.00/hour Shift Premium for 3rd Shift (effective October)

Schedule:

• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
• Monday through Friday
• Weekend overtime may be required based on production needs

HTI is hiring Grinding Machine Operators (B Operators) for a well-established manufacturing facility in Blythewood, SC. In this role, you'll help produce high-quality bearing components by operating and monitoring grinding machinery in a fast-paced production environment.

What You'll Do

• Operate grinding machines and automated production equipment
• Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments as needed
• Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met
• Use measuring tools and gauges to verify product specifications
• Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and production requirements
• Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping duties
• Record production information and quality results throughout the shift
• Handle scrap and non-conforming parts according to company procedures
• Maintain accurate production and traceability records
• Assist with training new team members when needed

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of continuous employment with your current employer

OR

• If currently unemployed, you must have been unemployed for less than 3 months and have at least 1 year of continuous employment with your most recent employer
• Must have prior machine operator experience

Preferred Experience

• Previous manufacturing, machine operation, production, or industrial experience
• Experience using measuring equipment such as gauges, dial indicators, or calipers
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, and work throughout a full shift
• Occasional pushing and pulling of material containers and product baskets
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment

Work Environment

• Climate conditions typical of a manufacturing facility
• Required use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including:
  • Safety glasses
  • Hearing protection
  • Steel-toe or safety shoes
